I bought the 2016 car 12/2018 used. Used dealer sold it as a hail damaged car with 5 year/60,000 mile warranty still intact. No crashes. The CVT goes out at 41,733. It's clearly BS to go out that soon, but oh well, warranty will cover it right? So wrong. Nissan says they cancelled the warranty 11/2018 after hail damage. What does hail damage have to do with the CVT transmission!? I would understand if the car was totaled due to a crash but there was no crash. Why is the transmission going out after 41,000 miles? We love the car and have been Nissan customers for over 30 years. Why Nissan, why!? I don't have $4000 to fix it.
