”unavailable front radar obstruction” message ”unavailable front radar obstruction” message ”unavailable front radar obstruction” message

The ”unavailable front radar obstruction”comes on more frequently now than when it first started. I have taken it to my Nissan dealer and they say that it is not under water due to sings of impact on right fog lamp. The fog lamp glass is broken due to a rock hitting it while driving on the freeway. The damage to the fog lamp should have no impact on the sensor that is located behind the front bumper that is nowhere in sight. I believe that my front sensor is due to the Nissan/Bosch faulty sensors that Nissan has not yet recalled. Due to the Nissan service center stating that is was damaged due to an impact, they want me to pay a calibration fee of $145.00 and if the calibration does not work that they estimated the cost of a new sensor to be $1232.49.

There are clearly issues with the front radar sensor in my search on this site and via the Internet. Digital Trends first broke this news in September of 2018. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. My Kicks was not even a year old when this issue first started. I have posted pictures of my right front end. There is no damage to the front bumper aside from the broken glass on the fog lamp. The fog lamp still works, only the glass was shattered.
