Took car to dealer in the Saturday morning for routine battery check. Dealer gave car to me and said everything checked out ok. Took car for ride and try to charge the car . Did not charge or go in reverse or drive. Call dealer and was told nothing they did anything to car go bad (12:30 pm). Dealer told me they will be closing at 2 pm . We called nissan and arranged to towed to dealer(1:30pm). Technic Ian looked at the car and say could be brake module and asked us to leave car there for further check up. No loner vehicle at first but sale person who sold vehicle to me was nice enough to give me car so we can go home. Monday I call dealer about car . They told me it is 12 v battery and it is $134.00 . I told them to put it in. When I went to pick up they showed me battery report. We asked them to provide Saturday's battery report. They could not provide one( I believe none exists). After arguing with them they waived charges for the battery. I complained to Nissan and they told me also it is 12 v battery. Nissan said it has only two year warranty. They told me it is the heart of the car. I cannot imagine that they have two battery . One lithium ion for drive has 7 years Warranty and 12 v battery(heart of car according to Nissan) with two year warranty. I am the first one in my town to buy the car and today I would not recommend to buy leaf.i think for the price of the car at least they can put a good battery
