problem #2

Maxima SE 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 148,000 miles

I brought this car from a friend, he sold that to me for a reasonable price. After few days of purchase it had a bad transmission which was jerking while shifting. I didn't take care of that initially and the problem grew more making the gear shift worse. Took the car to a friend recommended repair shop, they tried to fix it by giving a quote of 2300$ though it was a big pain spending that much. I expected my car to return in fixed condition. They replaced the transmission but it turned out to carry the same problems within no time. I guess the problem cannot be fixed for ever.

Maxima LS V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 54,000 miles

They can't find what's causing the fuse to blow. I can be anywhere, (PICKING UP GRANDCHILDREN FROM SCHOOL) all of a sudden it won't go in gear. Had the fuse replaced three times in one week. They say it has something to do with the brakes??????????

Help. What is causing this?
