Will someone please explain why cars costing many thousands of dollars cannot be made with glass headlights? These cheap plastic headlights cloud up after a few years. They sell all this stuff to restore them. At best this is a temporary solution. Why not install proper headlights in the first place? Isn't it a safety hazard to drive at night with headlights that do not function? All the halogen bulbs etc. in the world do not make up for these subpar lights. Do we need a rash of joggers, cyclists and deer being killed before a new Ralph Nader takes on this crusade? They are cheap and dirty looking. Not everyone can afford a new car every time the headlights start to cloud up.
