Maxima ES 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 113,000 miles

I bought this Nissan Maxima 2004 car used in March of 2012. One month after purchasing this car on a day of a snow blizzard my right front passenger window would not go up. It would make an attempt and then it would roll back down on its own. i had to cover the window with a black garbage back so the snow would not mess up my leather interior. when i took it back to the mechanic they told me the the window motor was failing and it had been cracked not allowing enough force to hold the window up. The dealer could not find a used motor for this car and refused to buy one from the nissan dealer because it was too expensive. so he had me wait another two days to have the motor rebuild. after reinstalling it has not given me a problem but NOW THE SAME PROBLEM IS GOING ON WITH THE FRONT RIGHT DRIVER SIDE. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH NISSAN WINDOWS AND NEEDS TO BE FIXED AT NO CHARGE. WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS GOING ON WITH THIS TRANSMISSION, BRAKES, PAINT FADE, CLEAR COAT PEELING, AIR CONDIOTIONING FAILING . NISSAN SHOULD BE REPLACING ALL THIS AT FREE OF CHARGE. THESE NISSAN MAXIMAS 6TH GENERATION HAVE BEEN A PAINT IN THE ASS!!! PLEASE RECONSIDER IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY A NISSAN MAXIMA. I WOULD'VE RATHER TAKEN PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.

This problem is such a headache. I love to use the sunroof, but every time I open it- I'm scared that will be the time it won't close. To top it off, the sunroof has two different controls and if one works the other doesn't.

As simple as it sounds, an electric window failure on top of all that was already bad with the car, made things unbearable.
