I have a Nissan Maxima 2010,v6,sv model, and I have noise coming from the wheel-tires, Have 51,000 miles on them I think the noise is coming from the front left (driver's side) but it's hard to tell. I checked the tires on a lift, found 3 tires had cord problems and replaced them with $800.00 worth, all four. Had them mounted and balanced went on the highway to try them out, still the same noise but a smoother ride with no hiccups, great, one problem solved. I would go down a hill 55mph hear the noise put it in neutral and coast, rpms dropped down to 600, when I started to slow up near the bottom the noise slowed up also, so that leaves me to believe it's in the wheels. <p>Now the noise really hits its peak going about 65mph and as I reach 80mph, it seems to quiet down. The car doesnt pull to the right or left when braking nor veer off the line when I let go of the wheel on the road so nothing is out of line. Now Im thinking it could be in the brake system, like a warped rotter but the peddle doesnt bounce when I apply my foot on it. So did this ever happened to someone else out there in driving land?. I would appreciate any and all suggestions on solving this matter, I hope this info helps, but nothing is ever easy. THANKYOU

Update from Aug 21, 2014: the noise might becoming from the brake pads,the piston bracket might not be releasing and the pads are just about touching and making a humming whistle sound.?
