Toyota had the same problem with melting dashboards and they replaced all of theirs. How come Nissan will not do the same?

This is my second Maxima, I love these cars, but this one with the melting dashboard is the worst. I did contact the Nissan manufacturer and they just stated, they are not wiling to help with the expenses to replace the dash in any way. Not eligible for Goodwill assistance base on the mileage of the vehicle. I am just under 10k miles per year. I advised this them this will be my last Nissan.

Dashboard melting, when you touch it comes off on to your hand. Also shows a glare in the front windshield when driving due to its melting and has shine to it. It has also started cracking.

The dashboard is melting. They know they have a problem and they have ignored it. If their product can't take Florida type climates then they should not be selling their products here.

Dash has started melting. Read that Nissan fixed this for certain Altima models, but doesn't cover Maxima's. Since I'm not going to pay to replace the dash, I guess the only fix is one of those "nifty" dash covers. Fabulous.

Melting/shining dashboard is annoying and dangerous in terms of reflection of windshield and accompanying glare challenges visibility. Toyota has addressed this problem 100% by providing new dashboards and installation at dealerships.

dashboard seems melting, sticky when it is hot
We bought this car in 2011. Few years after, we noticed that the dashboard was shiny and when touched, it is very sticky, soft and could be easily scratched. When it is hot, dashboard looks like it is melting even when it is in used, say while driving under the sun or even it is not hot or sunny, it is still sticky.. So when we clean the car, we don't clean the dashboard because it will stick to the material used in cleaning. Not sure why this is happening because I thought it should be leather like the rest of the interiors. Hoping Nissan will have a solution to this issue so we can have ou car fixed soon.

Took my car in to fix air conditioning 1/11/24 to the Nissan dealership in Melbourne, FL due to it's not working. They fixed the air conditioning to the tune $3273.59 but since that time I have gotten a white film on the rubber of the interior. I read about this happening on the older Nissans but this year was not mentioned. I'm going to call Nissan about this as it only happened after they fixed the A/C.
