When easing up off of the accelerator of a 2011 Nissan Maxima, this car did not slow down nor did the brakes work properly leading to a motor vehicle accident that resulted in serious injuries. This car was defective. Make sure yours is not and have it inspected by your own inspector separate from Nissan. If there are any flaws found with any 2011 Nissan Maxima's as a result of this post, I ask you to report it to an attorney, local law enforcement, and the general public. People have the right to know about the accurate safety features/ratings of the car and they have the right to know of the defects with the vehicle. Putting consumers in an unsafe car that cannot sustain life in minor collisions and failing to adequately warn consumers about eventual death/injury that will occur as a result, that's a crime where I'm from. Buyer be ware. ANYONE WITH A 2011 NISSAN MAXIMA, have it inspected and get rid of it. Do your part because Nissan isn't doing their part.

I made a mistake when I purchased a 2011 Nissan Maxima, I trusted in a name, a brand, a company with a good reputation or so I thought. Even the safety ratings are false in relation to the 2011 Nissan Maxima. Nissan is selling vehicles that are not equipped to endure any form of collision. Nissan may as well call an air bag a Christmas tree and write it off as a decoration for all the good it did us.
