The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Maxima. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 19V807000 (service brakes, hydraulic) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was taken to teddy Nissan (3660 boston rd, bronx, NY 10469, (866) 980-6251) where the technician informed the contact that parts were on back order. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred twice. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure however no further assistance was provided. Parts distribution disconnect. The failure mileage was approximately 11,000.
