First off, "Micra" is a Canada only model with a North American engine (1.6L) without a European equivalent (smaller, lower hp and diesel available). It's American sister car is the Versa Note. As all wheel bearings do it started rumbling. I shopped around, both online and brick and mortar stores. Being in Toronto I had (or should have had) a lot of options but every call to a store ended with "No listing, must be dealer only." Online was even worse because of the 'Canadian nameplate' of Micra most sites didn't even have a listing for the car. The dealership wanted $290CAD/ $218USD for one bearing, part only. It would be another couple hundred for installation. Putting an axle total over $1,000CAD. The whole car was under $10,000 new. Labeled as Canada's cheapest new car.... Not to repair.
