Driver's side visor broke again, for second time, now out of warranty. I tried to use Velcro to hold up both from flapping down, but now use elastic bands. It's really expensive to have repaired right.

Passenger side visor broke, dealer won't fix though car under warranty.

Driver's side visor broke. Dealer said it wasn't covered under the bumper to bumper extended warranty until I made a fuss about it being a safety hazard falling down while driving.

This is a really dangerous issue because it startles you when it happens and makes it where you are unable to see. I decided against spending hundreds and just bought a Velcro patch from Wal-Mart. It is not ideal because it makes the visor hard to use, but it does hold it up.

Both Sun Visors (driver and passenger side) suddenly starting dropping down loose which affects my visibility in front and have to use other hand to hold it up. Dealer and Nissan Consumer affairs say that car is out of warranty and they did not agree to my request for a recall request on this part. Also cost of replacing is too high for me to ignore the fact the part quality is bad. I am considering this as an hazard to driving
Update from Jun 20, 2013: I finally gave up on Nissan Consumer to understand the seriousness of this issue and denying the fact the quality of the part is in question. Due to how risky it is for me to drive like this, I paid $$$ from my pocket to replace them.

Not sure what happened one day it just started falling down and wouldn't stay up.

The visor on the drivers side of my Nissan Murano POS also falls down. The replacement is now up to $560 according to my dealer, because they switched vendors.... for a freaking sun visor... For those others of you who have this problem, if you extend the sliding part of the sun visor, you can rest it on top of the rear view mirror to keep it out of your way, though it doesn't do any good if you actually need to use the thing. It will block your vision hanging limply, unless you are incredibly short.
I've seen many other people report the same problem... Why no recall on this? I guess not being able to see isn't a safety issue according to Nissan.

Sun visors not staying up, flopping down at will is dangerous. They obscure my vision while driving, could possibly cause an accident.

The sunvisor will not stay put..it keeps (flopping) falling down. It will not stay in the lifted position. Sometimes it is scary because it totally blocks my view. I really hope that I didn't buy a lemon...any feedback welcomed. The dealer wants us to pay $250 to fix it (parts & labor

Both sun visors fall which obstruct view while driving! I have to use a bungee chord to keep them up an out of the way! Totally annoying and dangerously! I can't believe this was never a recall issue! Talk about a safety issue...I will not consider buying another Nissan due to their disregard of this issue!
