There is currently a national recall on the Nissan Murano. I own a 2004 Murano and was instructed by Nissan Corp. To take it to a dealer and have the work done because the problem could cause an accident. I attempted to take the vehicle to victory Nissan dealership on battlefield blvd in chesapeake, Virginia and was informed that there is a national back order on the recalled part in question. I was also informed that it would take three to four months before they could get to my vehicle. This seems unacceptable for a recall with potential life-threatening problems. Hope you can help.
