Murano SL 6

  • CVT transmission
  • 98,500 miles

On this 2004 Murano, it says in the supplementary warranty owner's manual that suspension and struts are covered under a lifetime warranty to the original owner. The Jim Keras dealership manager says he has never heard of this, and NISSAN USA customer dis-service phone operator actually told me I must not have the correct manual that goes to my car. It came out of my glove compartment. She also told me that they cannot address it until I pay them 98 dollars for a diagnosis. This has to be normal wear and tear. I only have about about 99 thousand miles on it. My husband's Prius has about 160,000 miles driving on the same streets I drive, and he has no problem with his shocks and struts.
