Wheel bearing went out... Horrible screeching when turning. Found one online for $130ish if I recall correctly. Dealer wanted $700 to change.

Murano SE V6

The wheel bearings have went bad on this car and lucky that was covered under my warranty. This was about the only thing that was covered under this warranty. I advise people don't fall for that warranty crap with Nissan because it really doesn't cover nothing.

Pay attention to the passenger front wheel bearing. Ours started making a roaring noise at about 60000 miles and we finally changed it at 65000. There is no reason that a wheel bearing should go out with that little miles on it. The mechanic that changed it said that Nissan did not make a very good bearing. Oh yea by the way...it cost 230.00 fot the part. There was one import part store in my area that could get it. Besides that its the web or the dealer. I called Nissan about the issue and they said that its not thier problem because the car was out of warranty but i could file a claim and they will review it to see if they will honor it and re-emburse me for the parts and labor. Guess what. I got a BIG FAT NO!! and it took them about 3 months to tell me that. They were rude and a real pain on the phone.
