2005 Nissan Murano door locks fail to lock and unlock. I have a 2005 Murano and the door locks recently have stopped working. The lock will not lock or unlock with the remote or with the door lock button on driver or passenger door. This is even a bigger problem having a 2 year old in the vehicle and the only way to unlock the door is manually. Since there is no key hole on the rear doors you have to climb through the vehicle to lock the door. I can't even lock the door if she manually moves the lock with her hand I can't lock it from the driver side control. The problem started with the driver lock, then progressed to the rear right door, now three of the 4 doors are affected and also the rear hatch. It is not an option to open if you can't use the unlock button. There is no manual release button to unlock the hatch. This can a public problem for ever attempting to get a child out of a car in the case of any emergency.

My boyfriend was driving my car on the I-10 when he suddenly heard a loud crack and the seat was suddenly lopsided. I therefore brought the car into my local Nissan dealership to see about having it repaired and if my warranty would cover it. I was informed that parts and labor would cost $846, I also had to pay the $90 whether or not I was going to have it repaired. I contacted my warranty company and was told that after careful consideration they would not cover it because it happened after the 36000 mile. My car had roughly 60K miles at the time of the occurrence. I now have to ride with two large phone books under my seat in order to drive. I asked that a supervisor contact me and no one ever did. I now have 72K miles and would like to see about repairing this before it hits 100K. I am not quite sure of the date but I do know that it was sometime in January.

Drivers seat rocks to the left. Was informed by jim mills Nissan that the seat track was bad, $716 to replace. Not covered under extended warranty. This was on Aug.22, 2007. Filed a complaint with Nissan. Now were having problems with drivers side sunvisor falling down while your driving and passenger door lock not securing all the way. The lock mechanism will go part of the way and stop. All of the items above are safety issues that need to be addressed by Nissan. Yes, I purchased the extended warranty.

Since lease of vehicle in July 2005, many problems. Most recent is lack of acceleration at random times. Vehicle was fixed and in less that a week of it returned to me, problem happened again. I do not have any warning that the car will cease to accelerate. It is not a safe vehicle to drive, especially with my children or others children in the car. I am afraid for my children's lives as well as my own when I am driving this vehicle. The vehicle required a new engine when it was slightly more than a year old, it has had many other things wrong with it, however this is the most serious and possibly deadly.

I own a 2005 Nissan Murano sl [xxx] and due to recall number 06V048000, I took in my vehicle to have the gas tank shield and safety belt webbing installed to St charles Nissan Inc, St peters, mo (Nissan dealer no. Scn). Upon my vehicle's return, I find there is no 2nd row LH seat belt clip for me to insert either the 2nd row LH seat belt or my child seat securing harness into. There were 3 clips prior to my taking the vehicle into the dealership - one for 2nd row rh, one in the middle and one for 2nd row LH. Now there are only 2 and I can see visible signs of the LH seat belt clip having being cut off from the seat. This prevents me from attaching my child seat for LH rear passenger to use a seat belt. I am not sure if this is the dealerships fault or Nissan's direction to the dealership to remove the seat belt clip, but as of right now there is no way I can use a child seat as there is no place to secure the harness on the left hand side.
