While driving on the street or highway ABS light comes on then vehicle stalls and rolls at about 2 mph and the car doesn't respond when I press the gas pedal. Usually the ABS light turns off then I can drive normally. The last time this happened the car turned off I had to push it out of the street and it wouldn't start up for a couple of hours, then the ABS light came on again and then it stalls with no response when pressing the gas pedal. This has happened over 10 times even after replacing the brakes and checking all the sensors, checking the battery and all of the connections and fluids.

While driving on the highway on our way to pick up daughter who lives 1.5 hours away my 2005 Nissan Murano would not stop when I stepped on the brake pedal. I had to pull the car over and let it stop to put it in park. I then called a tow truck and had the vehicle towed to the mechanic. I had to get rear brake pads and rear brake rotors as well as the rear passenger side rear caliper. This all cost me $1,700 as well as a weekend with my grandchild! there had not been any warning signs that I needed new brakes, I had only purchased this vehicle in November 2018. I paid 5,500 dollars for the vehicle and thus far have had to put almost 4,000 dollars into repairs and tow trucks! now I went out to my car and as I started to back out of my driveway as I stepped on the brake pedal it is very squishy and now is going to the floor!. I got out of my vehicle and my driveway is covered in brake fluid!!! my master cylinder is obviously now needing to be replaced! I put in a bottle of brake fluid hoping to drive it to the shop and I can see it dripping out of my vehicle already without even stepping on the brakes! I am going to have to again call a flat bed tow truck to have the vehicle taken to the garage to be repaired. I am not sure yet but I am guesstimating this will cost me another 1200 dollars. Not to mention I was told that I need to replace the racknpinion"???" 2005 Nissan Murano seems to be the worst decision I have ever made in my life, and I can only describe it as a death trap. Oh one last thing, the day I bought the vehicle I was almost rear ended several times on the way home. I got home and found out that I had absolutely no back lights that worked. Takata recall..I drove my 2005 Nissan Murano and I parked the Nissan. 20 minutes later started to back the car and as soon as I put it on dr it went by 2 miles an hour so then I pressed on the gas all the way down and it still went to miles an hour it's still drove but it was going around 5 miles an hour. Then I parked the Nissan and let it cool off and see what was wrong. I could not find nothing, I called my husband he could not find nothing either, he drove it around the block and it still went 5 miles an hour so then he checked the engine nothing was wrong but it did say ABS and then around 20 minutes later the Nissan turn on and it went normal and nothing happened until 2 months later. The next time I was at a drive-thru and then all of a sudden the ABS turn on and it did not want to go fast it went again five miles an hour. Then I turn around the corner and then it went fast but then it went slow again so I park the Nissan, and begin to start it and then it wouldn't start the ABS went on again, then the battery was dead. I finally got a jump and it turned back on like normal and it went normal until I got to the store and I left the Nissan on with the air condition and had my son in the car. My son said that air conditioner keep going on and off on and off the windows were not working try to roll down the windows it wasn't working so then I got in the car and as soon as I put it in dry it didn't want to go it went 5 miles an hour then the ABS turned back on and then it went back to normal I was driving I made it all the way home and that is what's going on with a Nissan Murano.

I had a check engine light and an airbag light appear on my dash. While driving on the beltway the ABS light came on and my car slowed down and wouldn't tee pond to the gas pedal. After about 2 minutes it kicked back in so I took it to get a diagnostic from a Nissan dealer the next morning. They told me everything was fine according to the computer there were a lot of codes that popped up but they told me they weren't happening anymore. I asked of they checked all of the wires they told me yes. So I took my vehicle and later that night while driving back from lunch break the ABS light came on again and the Murano slowed down as before only this time it cut completely off. It only held a jump for about 5 blocks before it cut off again. I had it towed back to the dealer the next morning and they told me they can't check anything unless I purchase a new battery so I bought a new battery and they put it in and told me everything was fine again it just needed a new battery. They told me everything was reading fine but in my opinion that was because it was feeding off the juice of a new battery. About 2 hours after leaving the dealer the same thing happen again with a new battery while I was driving. The ABS light came on the car slowed down this time the meters went crazy then it cut off. Only by the grace of god that no one was injured with my car cutting off while I'm driving. I called the dealer and they were not willing to do anything different and they told me my VIN number is not under a recall. I called Nissan Consumer Affairs after a week of waiting and unreturned calls I finally talked to a regional manager from Tennessee by the name of [xxx] only because I got transferred to him and all he told me was Nissan will not help you out financially. He didn't discuss the issue or offer solutions and showed no concern for safety only money even though I never asked for it.
