Seat jumps off its track from the left side of the driver's seat while driving. On a curve or through a pump on the road causes temporary disruption of the driver's Focus on the road thereby loosing temporary control and increasing the possibility of a crash.

Driver seat start to move sideways, after looking below I have found the support crossbar of the frame is broken at the end so the seat now leans up and down, back and forth. The dealer quotes $898 part +$250 labor just to replace the frame. Of course is not covered by Nissan. How many other brands beside Nissan have you seen with this problem? I am simply appalled by the lack of concern from Nissan. After reading complaints about seat collapsing, wheel bearing going out, visors falling blocking the view of the driver, steering hoses braking causing fire, in vehicles with low mileage I cannot believe Nissan does not identify this as a safety issues and allows the consumer to pay for these faulty components. This is my first and last Nissan vehicle.

As I was turning, the driver side seat collapsed and seat started shaking and wobbling toward the left and backward. I managed to get to a safe place to investigate the problem. The thin bracket under the seat had broken. The seat is making it hard to steer since it can wobble any time I make a turn. Searching online, it appears that this is a common complaint, but Nissan will not recall this defective part. It cost approximately $467 to replace and there is no guarantee that it will not happen again in the next three years. This is a manufacturer defect, but Nissan will not recall.

I pulled over and look underneath and saw that there is this little bar, slimmer than my pinky finger, which was support the seat broke. When I got home and researched, I was shocked to what I saw, a lot of complaints about this issue.this experience was one of the scariest thing I have ever experienced. To know that this was the only bar supporting the seat and nothing has been done about it, I am really shocked and really hope something will be done for Nissan to rectify this problem before it is too late for some people.

Driving approximately 60 mph on highway; looked over left shoulder to change lanes and heard loud pop. Seat fell back and to the left unexpectedly. This did cause me to go into another lane - thankfully there was no one there at that time. For the rest of the ride the seat bounced up and down and moved forwards and backwards. I see that I am not the only person who has had this issue. Nissan does sell a "bracket" to help reinforce this but it is over $1000 or you can buy the seat brand new for $2-3,000. Especially if you have heat/electric to the seat. These prices do not include labor either. I have two small children with me every day and I am thankful that this did not end in an accident. It seems that eventually it may end that way for someone though. What does it take to have a safety recall" does someone truly need to loose their life in order for a recall to happen" when you spend this much on a luxury vehicle you expect it to stand up and the maker behind it to stand behind it!!! I am extremely unhappy at this time with how Nissan is handling this.
