My wife and I have a 2005 Nissan Titan and a 2009 Nissan Murano. My 2005 Titan had a recall for a faulty fuel sensor last year. Sensor was not acting up, but had sensor replaced per recall. According to the Nissan website, over 340000 vehicles, not including the Murano, were affected by this recall. Now my wife's 2009 Murano has a fuel sensor problem and was quoted approximately $600 to have the sensors replaced. Currently, there are no recalls for the sensor used in the 2009 Murano. This is a part that should not "wear out" in this "short period". Nissan has replaced faulty fuel sensors in the past. Unfortunately, Nissan is still using faulty fuel sensors. Very, very disappointed in Nissan.

The gas tank needle has not worked properly since I bought the new used from a dealer. I have to rely on gas mileage to know when I am running low on gas. This is a safety issue since I could run out of gas at anytime.
