2010 Nissan Murano. Consumer writes in regards to engine surge problems. The consumer stated on two separate occasions, while waiting for a traffic light to change, the engine surged on its own. The first time, he was able to press the brake. The second time, he immediately placed the vehicle into neutral.

The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that while attempting to park the vehicle it accelerated suddenly and the vehicle did not stop until it hit another vehicle. This was the first time the failure occurred. The manufacturer stated that they would have someone inspect the vehicle, but they had not done so at the time of the complaint. The failure mileage and current mileage was 563.
