Murano SL V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 61,040 miles

After picking up my 2011 Murano (It was in the evening after dark), I went to the gas station to add gas and couldn't find a gas door release button. I had to call the dealer and inquire on how to open the gas tank door. I also, informed him that I would return to have the issue corrected. I made an appointment.

The service department told me that the button didn't light up it was not a feature. I found that strange, seeing that all the other buttons in the panel would light up. I had explain that a friend of mine has a 2015 Murano and that theirs work. I was then told by the service department that Nissan skip that feature on the 2011. I felt he wasn't telling the truth. Seeing that I was telling the truth and that I am not alone with this problem I will be reporting this again to my dealer.

Thank you!

Murano Limited 3.2L

needs to lighted up like the other buttons. When driving at night you cant find the button for the opening of gas tank to put gas in car.

what happens you wind up opening the rear gate, what a piss poor design flaw.

Also doors should lock and unlock when you put car in park or drive, another dumb design from Nissan.

Rusty looking rotors on the car, concerning to us due to fact rust is corrosion and weakens the metal and also fears of not able to stop if they fracture while you intend to stop.
