First of all, this is the second time it's happened with 2 different cars. I don't have a vin # for the first as we sold it a few years ago. Both Nissan Muranos, the first was a 2009 and this one is a 2012. For no reason the drivers side sunvisor start popping when being put back up after pulling it down. Soon it wouldn't even stay up. We had to rig it up until it could be fixed. Had to be replaced and the damn thing cost 198.00 for the part! Not including the labor. The first time I thought it was a fluke, but the second! This must be an ongoing problem with Nissan Murano's and should be fixed. I won't be buying the same car the next time since I can't get any help with this problem. And to think I used to brag on Nissans.

This is an issue that from my research has been a problem for several years. I have found some back to 2005, so why has it not been fixed. It will cost about $200.00 to fix. My problem is my husband is very tall and this thing broke, fell down and what could he see... (hood of the car) which could have ended in an accident. I am very short and need the visor to see safely. So as many as there is why has there not been a recall to fix these and then it be fixed prior to sell not like there have not been enough time to do this.
