2014 Murano purchased Oct 2014 and about 3 weeks ago I found a very wet soaked carpet under the driver's side floor mat, which I had to vacuum out getting more than a qt of liquid. No leak from top~ all from underneath and unknown source. I am assuming that the leak has been there way before my purchase. I took to dealership for evaluation and was advised probably sunroof drain plugged and told how anything tiny could obstruct it. Then I was told to take to another business so headliner could be removed.
WHY couldn't dealership do this is beyond my comprehension. Total 4 days later at that appointment and headliner removed we were advised that there is not even a drain that comes from the sunroof but definite water spilling into floor board from them pouring water on top! Instructed to go back to dealership to order a part. Body shop at dealership states no part needs ordered but bring back in 2 days for an appointment and would seal underneath??!! Well after their further discussion with outside business and no drain noted, we are advised our car needs to be kept overnight to further investigate the source of the leak.
WELL~~~ it's 1 week later and we have been told on a daily basis that they no not know the problem or the source of the leak! I was also advised they now have another car with same issue ~~sorry for their luck too~ but I want my car repaired. The other down side is, we will give you a loaner~ sweet~Not~~gave me a unkempt 2004 Olds, 110,000 miles, ~~ if I wanted a old car to drive I would of kept my very clean like new interior 2003 Honda Pilot with 114,000 and totally great shape!
Update from Feb 8, 2015: Carpet also rwmoved
