Murano Platinum 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

WE PURCHASED OUR FIRST MURANO, A 2010 LE, IN 2012...IT ONLY HAS 10,000 MILES ON IT. WHEN WE TOOK THE MURANO IN FOR ITS, APPROXIMATELY, 3RD OIL CHANGE WE FOUND OUT THE TRANSFER CASE WAS LEAKING. WHEN WE INQUIRED ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WE FOUND THAT IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH NOT ONLY THE 2010'S, BUT THE 2009'S AND 20011'S. WE DECIDED TO TRADE THE CAR IN FOR A NEW 2012, THAT WAS MARCH OF 2012.

WE HAD NO ISSUES WITH THE 2012 BUT, AFTER A WHILE, DIDN'T CARE FOR THE COLOR. IN NOVEMBER 2013 NISSAN HAD SOME GREAT REBATES THEREFORE WE DECIDED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM AND TRADED IN FOR THE 2014 MURANO PLATINUM. HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE FOR A YEAR AND A HALF AND HAVE HAD NO ISSUES. TOOK IT IN FOR IT'S THIRD OIL CHANGE, TODAY, 3/19/15, AND WAS TOLD THE TRANSFER CASE WAS LEAKING. WE THOUGHT THIS ISSUE WAS LEFT BEHIND ESPECIALLY SINCE WE WERE TOLD THE ISSUE WAS TAKEN CARE OF WITH THE 2012'S AND BEYOND.

TO SAY THE LEAST WE ARE A BIT DISAPPOINTED. HOPEFULLY WHEN THEY REPLACE THE SEAL THERE WILL NOT BE ANOTHER ISSUE WITH IT...AT LEAST WE HOPE SO. LOVE THE MURANO'S JUST DISAPPOINTED, THIS UGLY THING HAS REARED ITS HEAD..AGAIN!
