During the cold months the lane departure and the blind sight warnings fail. They both start blinking on the instrument panel. The message appears (unavailable clean camera). This occurs approx. 10 to 15 minutes into my drive. This only happens at night. It occurs whether it is clear out or raining. The backup camera still works when this has occurred although there are a couple of hazy shots. I have read in the manual that there is a a rinse and dry device involved. I can't get any info on this.
It occurred tonight at 35 degrees, 10 minutes into the drive having traveled about 10 to 11 miles. After stopping and checking the backup function I turned the car off and on. The LDW and BSW WERE OK. I AGAIN TRAVELED THIS TIME 20 more minutes and about 16 to 17 miles when it happened again. Happens every night when it is cold.
