Rodents have eaten my wires twice in the last month. The first time I went to Nissan, they wanted 1000.00. I went to another shop and paid 350.00. The second time the same shop charged me 650.00. They said there was more damage. After the first incident went online and found reports that peppermint oil and dryer sheets work - they didn't, as I found out three weeks later. It's in the shop for the second repair. I have put a product named "stay away" under the hood and expect to receive my order of "Honda rodent tape" any day. If it happens again I will trade it in. Other than this the vehicle is excellent. I will never buy a Nissan again until Nissan acknowledges the problem and corrects it. I understand Honda has a class action lawsuit against them for this problem. My repair shop tells me it's a problem with Honda Nissan and Toyota. They had a Toyota pickup with 2500.00 in wire damage. My daughter had wires eaten on her 2005 CRV. does anyone know of a lawsuit against Nissan for this?
