Seat belt may be defective as it is very difficult to fasten. I think if I were to get into an accident it would fail. I bought the car in 2016 and it seems Nissan may have used a poor design.

Driver's seat-belt doesn't release when you push the button. You have to pull the buckle out with a pretty stiff jerk. The car is stationary.
