Murano Platinum V6

  • CVT transmission
  • 36,000 miles

My car was under warranty so other than it being a pain in the ass I was ok thinking sh*t happens and who cares I got a new transmission (later to learn it was not a new transmission but a rebuilt transmission) The car should last me even longer. RIGHT? NO it was only the beginning.. I was able to drive in about 40k more miles and it stopped working again. This time it was not under warranty, had ran out 2 months prior to it stop working. This time was a new transmission that did not last 10 months. NOW they say its my problem and will not cover it

Murano Platinum V6

  • CVT transmission
  • 71,000 miles

This was the second time my Transmission stopped working. THIS time the warranty had ran out two months prior. I could have bought an extended warranty, but I thought since I had a new transmission at 36k miles I should be ok. BUT I WASN"T. It stopped on my way to work. This time I called corporate and they did decide to to a 60/40 split for a new transmission. Still costed me over 2K. Again I am stupid and thought I had a little time, but no.... it stopped working almost 10 months later. This time corporate says I am on my on. I am a single widow and do not have the money that Nissan must think I have.

Murano Platinum

  • Manual transmission
  • 19,884 miles

Put the car in reverse and it would not move. The transmission was sticking and I actually thought the emergency brake might be on. Felt "locked" up - like it was being held. Car eventually reversed, but was making a very loud ticking noise like a helicopter in the distance. This car is a lemon. Spent 50,000, been in the shop on 5 occasions. This time for (3) separate and fairly major issues.

This issue they have no clue and want to trouble shoot it further..???

If my car transmission locks on me in reverse, what will happen if I am in drive and pulling into traffic?
