This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
While driving down the interstate, the panoramic sunroof exploded with nothing making contact to the glass. Nissan has denied repairs under warranty with no explanation. This is a common problem with Nissan sunroofs.

On a local television station news report, they indicated there were 19 Nissan Muranos that suffered exploding sunroofs and Nissan still says they are not at fault. I would like to be part of a class action law suit against Nissan because I was driving 120 kilometers per hour when this exploded and I almost drove off the road - and I was in the middle of the Coquihalla Highway where no one would have found me.
Please find a US lawyer to launch a class action law suit and I will be part of it.

Moonroof just exploded while driving down the highway , glass went everywhere and had I had the roof panel rolled back glass would have rained down into the cockpit causing an injury or potentially an accident.
I just recently had warranty work done on my Murano to replace a defective moonroof track. Took the car to the dealers to get the roof panel replaced under warranty but was told they don't cover glass, I did explained that they just worked on the roof track no more than a month ago and it could have been part of that issue, but the dealer refused to cover anything under warranty.
