I bought this car Oct 2018....this spring, lots of rust came out on my rear passenger fender. I took it in to a Nissan approved body shop and was told the spot welding that held the inner and outer sheets of metal had let go and salt got in. I was quoted $ 2600.00 per fender because both sheets must be cut out and blah blah blah... WHAT????? I took it into my salesman at Nissan and his solution was to patch it up until my car pay’ts were over.... WHAT???? And send this problem to some other unsuspecting buyer ? It seems I have more integrity than my dealership and Nissan Canada as they have never bothered to respond to my complaint. There are 10 and 12 year old cars in my parking lot that look better than mine and were far cheaper.

I purchased this 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet brand new in May 2012. It only had 30 miles on it. I don't drive it much so after 6 years, I only have close to 49,000 miles on it. Recently, I noticed excessive rust over the passenger side rear wheel opening as shown in the photo i attached. I never had a collision on this vehicle. I saw a similar post on this website by someone in Canada with the same exact problem i have at the same location so I wanted to file this complaint because now I know this must be a faulty drainage problem in the design of the car body.
