NV200 SV 2.0L

  • CVT transmission

While I have other minor gripes with this van, namely being under powered and numerous interior rattles and squeaks, my main complaint has been well documented and not been addressed by Nissan USA, or aftermarket manufacturers/distributors. That serious issue is the very poor quality of the stock tires, and the lack of availability of suitable replacements. Currently there is no tire available in the US that is of the size 185/60 R15C 94/92T 6PR. It is a unique, high pressure, high load tire, that is common in Europe. It is inadvisable to install commonly available 185/60 R15 passenger tires, as they have nowhere near the required weight rating. One has to go to a Nissan dealer to get the stock replacement tires which wear out in as little as 10,000 miles. An online tire distributor needs to step up, and get a few container loads of Continental Vanco 2 tires, in the 185/60 R15C 94/92T 6PR size. They would make a tidy sum, as many NV200 owners are at the point of needing new tires now.
