Well folks it happened to me. Took my 95 pathfinder to get inspected and it failed due to frame rot. I love my pathfinder. have taken extremely good care of it since purchased in 05. body and mechanics all good and now i cant drive it because of a problem every single person with a pathfinder of this model year has. Nissan should be ashamed of their problem and admit a recall. At least Toyota values their costumers and tries to do right by them. A black scar and shame on Nissan. Guess i know what brand to trust and depend on for the rest of my days and its not Nissan.

So I Bought my Pathfinder about 6 -7 months ago With a VI (Vehicle inspection order) It came with a list of item that had to be fixed, Windshield, Ball joints Ect... After I passed the inspection about 2 months after i noticed it making a lot of squeaking coming from the rear end. And i go look at it and the frame is just Covered in rust with a big gaping hole/crack down the frame about 3-4 inches long.... So that being said that means the frame must of gone from good enough shape to pass a VI to that bad in around 2 months. I'm still just in Aw and really don't under stand how that could happen. Anyways has anyone else had this problem if so please tell me how you went about fixing it.
