The entire exhaust system (from and including Y-pipe and back) had to be replaced because the entire system was completely rusted out. My mechanic said it was the most rusted out system he had ever seen. I believe this was due to incorrect making of the product. This may be similar to the other recall in which the lack of properly coating the items caused premature rusting.
