Takata recall hello, I received a safety recall letter from Nissan to have my airbags inspected. I went in and left with no issues and no repair was done, just an inspection. Two months later the airbag light started blinking. I called them and asked that they fix it. They said it will cost me $150 to diagnose the problem. I stated that they caused the problem during their inspection as it was working just fine until then. They refused to fix the problem the created. This is obviously a scam to get more money out of consumers for an unnecessary repair. What can I do to get them to fix the problem for free? I have been driving the vehicle around for two years with the issue. I have contacted the dealer multiple times, complained and now that my son is to drive the vehicle I need this addressed and you are my last effort.
