I will say this every time that I report this issue, but this is not that significant of a problem if it only happened once, however, I have had to replace my fuel pump FIVE TIMES in the last 3 years. And with a bill of almost $600, this gets very pricy. I was told that it was because I was using "bad gas" every time so it would not be covered under any warranty.
However, after the first fuel pump, I switched to Shell Premium fuel ONLY. Still, I was told bad gas, and whenever I reminded them of the fact that I was using only good gas, I was told that it didn't matter. It has gotten ridiculous so I have decided to sell my car. I love this vehicle to death, but I cannot afford to constantly replace the fuel pump, along with any other problems that occur because the fuel pump fails so often.
I would warn against anyone who wants to buy these cars that they are absolute money pits, very fun, very fast (for an SUV), money pits.

Yes! 5 minutes after I drove the car away from the dealership who fixed my transmission and radiator intermix issue, my fuel pump failed. Yet, another $1,000 immediately after spending $5,000 for the radiator and transmission. Just lovely. Thanks Nissan!
