Tailgate rusted and was repaired by dealer. Few months later rust came through again in same place which was either side of handle. Plus noticed rust on underside of tailgate at the top. Under part where the water pipe for rear squirter is. Bubbling there and looking nasty. Got brand new tailgate not repair. My sister got same problems to on her 2007 pathfinder. Plus we both had rust coming through roof around wind screen and spots at rear end of roof. I got all mine done via warranty, sister only got wind screen rust done. Main dealer said rear rust spots were damage. BULLSHIT. I now got rust coming through on passenger side sill. Plus more rust creeping through on inner main chassis. Hard to explain. Open tailgate and look at welds above the rear light clusters. I got rust on these welds/joints. This part not even open to the elements. Kept covered by the tailgate. Very poor Nissan. We should all sue Nissan. I've been looking at every Nissan Pathfinder for sale and they are all rusting around the Tailgate, Wind screen. Rear roof rust spots. Sill bubbling. Inner chassis. Pathfinders only came to the U.K in 2005 so I suppose its the new model in the USA. Be wary.
