I just bought my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder (used) on April 2, 2016 with less than 87,000 miles. It rode great, although there was some turbulence at 40mph until 45mph, but once over the 45mph mark there was no problems or delay. In August 2016, on the 20th the Pathfinder began to have less power at 40mph and felt pressure when trying to go over 35mph, then 30mph, then 25mph, and finally then 20mph. I did not want to ruin the transmission so I parked and towed it home. Why doesn't it want to go? I just had a transmission service and flush with new fluids in May 2016 at Transmission City, supposed to be good for 30,000 miles. So I called them to ask about it. They suggested that it could be a leak in transmission fluid. But we don't see any fluid leaking. So I googled "why doesn't my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder want to go" and found that this has been a problem with hundreds of other Pathfinders ranging from 2005-2007. Oh wow. So what do I do now? My SUV looks so nice sitting there not running (yeah right) and feels horrible paying this monthly payment on a vehicle that doesn't run. Can anyone tell me how I can get this repaired since this appears to be a recall or manufacturer's fault.
