ignition key won't turn, steering locked, shift locked

I can't start the vehicle and get to work. The key won't turn in the ignition, the steering column is locked. I tried all the buttons on the remote entry system nothing works. A light on the dash blinks in the form of a car. Is this a warning sign? i can't start the vehicle and get to work.
