This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
I first became concerned when I had to have the driver side roof rail moulding replaced with only 400 kms on it under warranty. The gasket had failed and was hanging down the side of the vehicle. Now with 106000kms the passenger side has done the same thing. With the wind able to get underneath the moulding, it has now broken the front clip and rattles uncontrollably at highway speed. The vehicle is off warranty and the dealer quoted approximately $800 CAD to repair it. That seems outrageous to me, and they thought there, "might be a recall on it" because the replacement part number requires the replacement of both driver and passenger sides. I am wondering if this is a common problem and if so how do I address it with Nissan Canada? Thanks.

Gasket would come loose and flap about at highway speeds. It took 2 weeks for the replacement part to come in, but they replaced it with no issue and no charge. Free carwash & I was on my way.

I think this was a known issues. As soon as I took into dealership, they ordered parts right away and installed within a week.

The seals broke on both sides of the rails. The dealer would not repair as it was not covered under warranty. They flapped and made horrible noises while driving.$600 to replace. We used some type of black adhesive to glue them back down. The seal is broken again and I imagine we will just add more adhesive.
