Front subframe rusted through. This is a similar issue across a wide range of Nissan Pathfinders. This is a major safety issue.

The vehicle was pulling to the right when driving or breaking. Brought to the mechanic and he discovered that the rear passenger side subframe is totally rotted. Appears to be a common problem with Nissan from my understanding now. He suggested I just trade it in. I don't have that luxury so will attempt to have it repaired. I have looked for a recall and so not see one but I do see numerous complaints regarding this issue on various Nissan boards. Some have said they registered a complaint as well. Since this appears to be a common Nissan problem, their corporation should be responsible for the repair. I'm told not to drive unless necessary.

The Subframe has rusted out and it-??s causing my arm to move. It appears this is a common issue with Nissan vehicles in general. My mechanic stated that it should not have rusted out like that.

The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder that we own just had the subframe rust and collapse. The car only has 120,000 miles. This is not even close to the expectancy of how long a subframe should last.

Subframe completely rusted through and has broken in the back portion of the car. This risks catastrophic failure at highway speeds where the loose subframe can cause rear wheels to move outside of safe bounds. No warnings are given on the car and it is so hidden underneath that a normal inspection can miss it. Now car has dramatic clanging noise every bump and risks failure every time we drive.

on 3 separate occasions 3 separate door handles have failed to work from the inside of the vehicle. We had to replace the front passenger side door handle twice and the rear left side once and now the rear right side door handle has stopped working. No warnings whatsoever ever they just stop latching and we are unable to exit the vehicle which is very unsafe. We took it to the Nissan Dealership in Carson City Nevada where we paid to get it replaced on 03/07/2022.

This happened to me yesterday 09/07/2020 on my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. I was driving about 45 miles an hour on a rural empty road when the sunroof made a pop sound and exploded. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw a large sheet of glass hit the road and disintegrate. When I opened the cover for the sunroof most of the glass was gone. The pieces around the frame that remained were shattered. Does anyone know how to join a class action lawsuit?

The bolt and arm that open the rear liftgate on my 2013 Pathfinder rusted from the inside out. Only warning sign was once lifted, it automatically closed. This happened 5 times. The piston snapped and broke away and blocked the lift gate from closing. Securing the lift was challenging! only way to open is manually lifting it and holding and propping it open. I contacted the dealership about getting it fixed or changing from power to a manual lift. I need to replace both shocks as well as the operating system est $1400 before labor. Obviously there is an issue since Nissan has completely changed how the door opens and closes! Nissan issued a recall on the rogue for that same issue with the tailgate..... I'm sure the pistons from the rogue that were recalled are incredibly similar to the ones in the Pathfinder. With covid and curbside pickup, folks have to put items in via the windows - very challenging.

Since I purchased my Pathfinder, I have had numerous close calls in almost having an accident due to the mirrors and the side panels inside by the mirrors, I cannot see if another vehicle is coming or if I'm at a 4 way stop I can not see if there is a car on either side of me at the stop. It's very dangerous. I thought I was the only one having this issue, but I just saw a forum about it online. I just don't want to be in an accident and harm myself or anyone else.

Driver side visor has fallen 2-3 inches and passenger side has fallen 4-5 inches. This is a complete safety hazzard for visibility and one could be seriously injured should they have an accident as an airbag can not protect them from faulty interior parts of this vehicle. We noticed a slight issue just after purchase in 2017 and the issue has gotten increasingly worse.
