Not sure what to say other than- crimney, never expected my interior handle to break while opening the door. Really didn't expect to find out it will cost just shy of $200 to replace. Will not go to the dealership- and to think my husband just bought a new Murano last week. Have to look into fixing it myself.. can't even trade it in at this point- with the transmission issues, the air bag recalls, the hood clasp issue.. totally a safety issue.

11/2017 my passenger side door handle broke so I have to open window and open door from the outside, have yet to get it fixed, so annoyed I paid all this money for a car and this brakes, the car is crap. It's 90 dollars a piece just for them to see what wrong, ridiculous

I've been driving for 35 years now. Cars of different makes and ages. I bought a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder 2.5 years ago. Last week, the inside door handle on the driver's side broke. Can't get out on the driver's side without rolling down the window and opening it from outside while the car is running. Called the dealer and apparently this is not covered under warranty because I did not buy extended warranty. I should not have to buy an extended warranty for door handles. The car is 2.5 years old with 35,000 miles. Door handles should not break on a car this age.

I cannot get out of my vehicle unless I roll down my window and open from outside. Ridiculous

Seems that Nissan has a LOT of this happening. Several videos on how to repair replace it. This should be a safety issue. If someone was in a wreck they might not be able to exit if that door was the only way out.
