The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder. When the vehicle was started, the contact detected an abnormal noise coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle was taken to cowles Nissan (14777 jefferson davis hwy, woodbridge, va 22191, (703) 497-3000) where it was diagnosed that the air conditioner compressor went out and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000.
