ABS pump "blew" lost compression and leaked all the brake fluid down the engine and all over the control arm. Brake pedal needed to go all the way to the floor to barely use the brakes. EBRAKE light stayed on even when not in use. Traction control light also came on and stayed on.

Multiple times since ownership as of 11/09/2019 during hard braking the ABS system failed to engage and wheels locked for a portion of stopping; the ABS would hesitantly engage after a few sec on separate occasions. Simultaneously, the transmission disengaged into neutral causing power to the FWD to not respond for at least 10-60 seconds after the car had completely stopped to the ABS system notification. On 11/31/2022, I hard braked to avoid a collision with a white ford pickup and coasted to the side of the road. Shutting down and restarting the car had no effect. After approx. 3 mins the transmission engaged and I was able to move. A line of traffic was waiting.

I purchased my 2017 Nissan Pathfinder and have already had to replace my rear brakes and all of my tires. I didn't even have 25000 miles and was told it was due to normal wear and tear. I've had numerous vehicles and never had to replace brakes or tires with such low mileage. Obviously there is something wrong because I am seeing the same complaint for other owners. The tires were replaced in Sept 2019 with less than 24K miles and I held off repairing the brakes until March 2019. Either way a brand new vehicle with that mileage should not have to have those repairs

Break fluids has leaked out three times during last 7 months since I bought it in Feb 2019 from carmax. I am second owner of this vehicles. All of a sudden, the break fluids disappears. The low break fluids light appears, and one time the breaks fail to work. I had to pull over, and use taxi to go and get replacement break fluids.

While driving with the cruise control on going 72 mph the Feb front emergency braking shut off and caused the cruise control to kick off almost causing a wreck due to the sudden decrease in speed the car behind me almost rear ended me. There is no way to disable the Feb and still use cruise control.

I was driving 60 mph when I suddenly notice the truck lost power and was making really loud noise under the front between the front tires. Pulled over to the side over highway and call for assistantce. Towed the truck to the dealer and was told my transmission was completely destroyed. I will need new one like now and the cost was 4500 dollars. Lucky I still have my factory warranty left for about 4000 before it expires and I hope Nissan man up and fixes it.

I reported the brakes being non responsive on 10/23/17 which had also caused a minor accident as the vehicle was in motion on a bridge in winston salam nc in front of the baptist hospital.it was moving stop and go and maybe would reach 35 mph and then it wouldn't stop. I had both feet on the brakes also standing up but it continued to coast into another vehicle so slow I could see it coming but the brakes would not work. It was took into the dealership after the collision repairs and I was told everything was fine. So during this time between then and now me and my wife was scared of driving and would brake at a further distance to make sure we had brakes. There was a recall on the ABS control unit and the vehicle went into the shop 11/21/18 and was kept for 9 to 10 days. Now we have brakes that work but the dealership said the recall was for a leakage not for it being non responsive. I feel that if it leaks or losses pressure it would be the cause of being unresponsive also and it would be Nissan responsibly.
