2017 Nissan Pathfinder makes low whirring noises when driving. Sounds gets faster at higher speeds. Took the car to a dealership to check the transmission. Results where that it was a transfer case issue. No leakage found, car does not having towing capability and the car is low mileage(74k). Costs $4500 to fix an issue that should never have been there. A quick Google search shows a lawsuit settlement for this issue. Contact Nissan consumer affairs and was told its not covered since it's over 60,000 miles. The dealership also caused damage to the control arms, forgot to put the other bolt on the new transfer cause and left scratches on other bolts. Concern now is how many more problems will this car have before I hit 90k miles. FYI, I avoid potholes and speed bumps, never had a Collision or accident, drive under 10k miles a year and never drive the car on any surface that isn't hard paved.
