Purchased new 2017 Nissan Pathfinder SL in October 2017, no problems until December 2017, about -6 degrees , started Pathfinder in inside garage, tack went to 2500 RPM, would not come down, put in gear took car down road at 30 MPH. Not touching gas pedal. Was very early morning no one on road, headed to Dealer, after about three miles tack RPM started down, to normal rate for 40 MPH about 1400 RPM. Drove to Dealer told them could not duplicate problem. Even left in Dealer parking lot overnight. Problem was there in morning. No error codes, so they say can't fix what they can't make happen. Talked them into resetting computer for idle. Every time I start in cold weather tach goes to approx. 200 to 2500 takes 2 to 3 miles RPM come down. Neither Nissan nor Dealer seem to think this is a problem, no error codes , can't duplicate so no problem. 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is a beautiful car, great size, gas mileage, but a bad car. Someone, someone has to hold Nissan accountable. I can't.
