The contact owns a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal at a stop light, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the engine was revving abnormally. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where error codes were retrieved. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with transmission failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 123,000.
