Water is leaking from my light fixture. Nissan suspected it to be the sunroof. Unfortunately the component that has failed/malfunctioned is unknown. It was suspected to be the sunroof. Nissan has failed to fix the issue multiple times. My safety as well as others are at risk for possible shock or getting electrocuted with water leaking by enclosed wires. The issue was confirmed by Nissan Service Center. I did get Nissan Consumer Affairs involved, and they were absolutely no help. I'm paying for a vehicle that has a manufacturer's issue but Nissan refusals to fix it. But they can't fix it because they don't know what is causing the issue. I have provided a full detail in the attached documents

Issue I have is when its raining - any water in the doors is to to drain out the 4 drain holes at the bottom of the doors. On my 2022 Pathfinder it is coming out the 4 drain holes but also coming out from behind the inside door panels and all 4 doors causing the inside liner/insulation to get wet. If you see water drops on the black plastic piece in the kick plates /doorways then you have an issue. Is this normal and will this cause issues with mold and smell? It seems the issue is the weather stripe that runs under the inside door panels to the top of the door is not making proper contact with the door frame in front of the splash guard which there is an opening from the splash guard which is also a bad design which hold lots of water and when traveling at highway speeds 60+ and the splash guard get fully it start to splash and go thru the opening and the weather-strip is is a complete seal and with the wind water is penetrating thru and wetting the inside door panels. In addition the front passenger also starts with a gurgling sound and it seems water and air are getting trapped due to the splash guard design and weather-strip not providing a good enough seal causing it to make a gurgling sound.

2022 Nissan Pathfinder sl AWD under warranty. Wife and child approached car, the proximity unlock didn't when touching the door handle. Wife pulled out key fob and hit unlock button. Then placed child in car seat behind driver. The key fob was inside of diaper bag on floor board directly in front of child seat and behind driver seat. Wife never initiated a door lock nor heard any audible lock mechanism. She then closed the back door and went to open the drivers door. The door was locked and police and ems via 911 were called to forcibly enter car since it was near 100 degrees outside. Later that day the local Nissan dealer service said that nothing was wrong with the vehicle and said nothing could be done. I tried multiple times to duplicate the door lock with fob inside last night and could not get it to duplicate what happened yesterday. My nine month old son was seen by urgent care and ems personnel but not police report was filed since there was no accident and my son did not require immediate emergency care, just cautious heat impact care at local urgent care clinic. Upon further research appears this issue with Nissan key defects goes back multiple year S and vehicles and had multiple NHTSA complaints. None of those however look to cover the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, hense this complaint.

I purchased this car with 6miles on the odometer. Shortly after my purchase, the sunroof started making noises. I have been in contact with my local dealership (not the one I got it from) with making sure that when the regular service has been completed to check the sunroof. They -??say-?? that they make sure that the drain is completely good. I have allowed them to -??fix-?? the problem with the noise but nothing changed. Tonight my roof was leaking water from everywhere. I want something done about this! There has to be a way to fix it. Please advise.

Hearing a gurgle or sloshing noise coming from front right passenger windshield drain hose areas. The condition presents itself after a rain soak/car wash and or when it is raining, and when driving approximately 50-70 mph. The dealer has not been able to locate the issue and say all drain lines are not clogged and I explained to them that the drain lines/hoses need to be extended because it sounds like air is getting in the drain hose end while water is coming out and it starts to make a gurgling/sloshing noise.

I was stopped at an intersection red light. One vehicle was in front of me. I had the Auto Hold activated. After stopping, I removed my foot from the brake pedal. The light was still red when my vehicle suddenly lunged forward (I did NOT put my foot on the gas pedal) and hit the vehicle in front of me. Fortunately, it was a truck with a hitch on the rear. There was no damage to the other vehicle, but the hitch went into the lower grill of my vehicle, causing damage to the grill and to the sensor located behind the grill. I reported the incident to Nissan and they sent a rep to run diagnostic tests on my vehicle. I requested a copy of the report and am NOT at all satisfied with what I received or was told. The person that I have been in touch with about this has not been willing to proceed with any further explanation of the report. Her name is [XXX] and the case is #[XXX]. I am concerned that this incident is a safety hazard. Please let me know what step(s) I can proceed with now. Thank you. The sunroof is leaking water. There has been no accidents or damage to the car. I previously took the car to fix the problem on 08/29/2022 Auto Nation Nissan Miami. They told me they had 6 pathfinders with the same problem for the same make and model and year. A few days later they told me they fixed the problem, however this is not the case as there is still a leak in the roof.

While driving the vehicle automatically applied brakes even though there was nothing in front of me. There was a car in left lane but nothing in front. No crash this time but close to being rear ended. Also backing up i took my eyes off camera to look in mirror, there was a car behind me & BAM we collided. Not warning beep, no applying brakes when it should have.

Reading all the complaints about this vehicle i do not understand any of them as we have absolutely no problems with anything. This vehicle does not have any design issues except very picky owners that should read the owners manual before complaining about something they don't understand, just trade vehicle instead of making false reporting of things that they don't like.

On January 16, 2022, my husband and I had to be escorted off of the road by a police officer. Luckily, turning off the Pathfinder resulted in resetting whatever occurred. At that time, the vehicle would not accelerate past 20 mph and showing about 4000 RPMs. This happened a few more times in our neighborhood, causing us to turn it off and restart in the middle of the road. Since then, the Nissan dealership has changed the battery, claiming that it was the only computer reading. Within two days of the new battery, it happened again to my husband in Orlando. The dealership is unable to replicate the problem, and my husband and I are afraid as he uses the Pathfinder for travel with business to Atlanta. These "revving" events occur randomly, and the dealership is unable to contact the Nissan engineers until they are able to replicate the problem. It's two days now the Pathfinder has been in the shop with no progress. My husband and I are afraid as this is our work vehicle and only reliable source of transportation.

When putting the car in drive or reaching 20 mph, all the doors autolock. There is no way to unlock the doors. If you press the unlock button, the autolock system just relocks all the doors. The doors will not unlock until the car is placed in park. There is also no option to opt out of this autolocking. The dealer tried to opt out and a call to 1-Nissan-1 provided no assistance. This is very dangerous in an accident when it is imperative that injured people need to be extricate immediately such as a fire. The doors cannot be opened from the outside. I was in an accident where I was rear ended at 45 mph. I was knocked unconscious and my foot slipped off the brake. The car rolled uncontrolled toward an interstate entrance. I was only awakened by people running alongside the car, shouting stop. With locked doors, there would be no way of getting me out or stopping the car. When I was awakened, I finally stopped the car about 50 feet from the impact. If the car caugh fire, I would be dead. I explained this incident during the sales process at Pinnacle Nissan. Two employees, four times assured me the autolock system could be disabled. Once I bought the car, they couldn-??t disable it. This is a very dangerous situation that the operator cannot control. In an extrication situation, the doors cannot be opened from the outside. At a minimum, the feature should have the ability to be disabled by the owner or the dealer.
