This a brand new 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid Platinum vehicle bought in 2015. Everything seemed to work really well until August of 2018 when my wife hit a deer that caused some front damage. Took it to the repair shop who also took it to Nissan for other fixes. Nissan, knowing very well that the vehicle is under warranty, told the collision center that the vehicle needed other fixes, but didn't tell us and neither did collision. Shortly afterwards [November], the vehicle broke down [in my community - thank God] and we took it to Nissan as it was still covered, and that was when they told us about the problem.
I was livid and told them I don't want the vehicle anymore due to it's safety issues, but they refused to buy their own car. One month after that [December 21, 2018] on our wedding day, the vehicle broke down again and I called them for help [Stafford Nissan] - they simply didn't care and told me that they will be closing in 30 minutes time for the Holiday and can't do anything. Told them it's my wedding day and need the vehicle for my guests from Europe and out of state - and they didn't budge one bit. We towed it to them and they fixed it in about a week.
In April of 2019 the vehicle gave way again in the middle of I95 South and I was able to move over to the hard shoulder safely with the help of good drivers around me. This was the straw that broke my trust in the vehicle and the company's customer care attitude. They fixed it again because of the warranty and I junked it to CarMax and got myself a Mercedes Benz for my trouble. Life has been good ever since. No more Nissan for me!
