I bought a qashqai aug 18 2017
from day one it has this problem,The cvt gives a jolt when you come to a complete stop. It is as if it down shifts to a first gear even if its a cvt.
I brought the car to my dealer st leonard nissan and they compared it with another demo on the lot, it was doing the same thing.
My dealer apparently contacted nissan canada and reported the problem. I have not heard from nissan or the dealer. The dealer advised me that its a new product and nissan has to get many complaints for the engineering department to get involved. I will complained to Nissan myself and they refer me back to the dealer . I am really upset with nissan canada ...the way the complaints are handled, its a brand new car

I bought a 2017 Nissan Qashqai in February of this year (2018). I noticed shortly after that there seems to be a slight cycling lurching either in the transmission or gas pedal at around 80-90 km/h, but not using cruise control. At first I thought it may have been wind gusting pushing on the vehicle, but it seems to happen quite often. I brought it to the dealership and left it there for them to drive it. After about an hour they called me back and said they didn't notice that problem. I guess its a case of their word against mine and I don't know what I'm talking about because I'm the customer. What I'm worried about is these "subtle" problems are a a symptom of something bigger (electrical). Not too impressed with Nissan as a whole.
