Rear fan does not work, apparantly this is a problem with the 1995 Quest if you will check this site you will find that alot of people have the same problem. www.micro-tech-auto.com/bbs/Nissan/index.cgi it seems to be a soldering problem or a burnt relay.

I purchased this van used. Beginning of July air-conditioner became sporadic. Seemed to quit working when it became very hot, but then would start back when speed increased or air temps cooled. In August it quit working all together. Gauges showed very high pressure readings. Replaced every single air conditioner component. Weather had cooled, everything seemed fine. This July, when temps got in the 90's it did it again. Have had more work done to no avail. I did not see this problem under Nissan. When getting parts, I was told A/C was same as Mercury villager. I found same problem listed in service bulletin 982016, NHTSA #SB603701. No remedy or bulletin was available. Help!

Sliding door lock has been repaired but never stays repaired. Can not be opened from inside at times, can not be unlocked with key. Repaired defective fan in July 99. Air conditioned is fully charged but is blowing hot air. Unable to determine problem, but appear to be relatively new hoses. Hoses are Goodyear, so I assume they have been replaced at least once. As second owner, I do not know how many times these problems have occured prior to my purchase.
